Booking in for a consultation

  • Booking for a consultation with one of our Gastroenterologists can be done over the phone (02 4226 5499) or in person at the Centre. 
  • You will need to have a current referral from your GP.

Booking in for a procedure

  •  To book a procedure, you will need to present to the Centre and make the booking in person. This can be done between 8.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
  • When you come in to book, you will need to bring your Medicare Card, Private Health Fund Card (if applicable) and your referral from your local doctor.
  • There are some forms you will need to fill out. These can be downloaded from the Form Download section and filled in prior to booking or can be done on the day of booking your procedure
  • You will be given a date for your procedure with the relevant information package and preparation. Please read this information carefully and contact us if you have any further questions.
  • You will need to contact the Centre on the day prior to your admission after 2pm to get your admission time. (ring Friday for a Monday appointment)

Health Fund Information

Rosemont Endoscopy Centre has contractual agreements with the majority of the major health funds. Our reception staff can check if your health fund is included in these.

For an admission, if you hold Health Insurance, your excess on your policy will apply. If you have no excess or have already paid it, you should have no out of pocket cost. Our staff will conduct an on-line check with your health fund to confirm you have no conditions and will advise on any amounts payable, firstly when you book in and again just prior to your procedure. 

Accounts

  • Accounts for consultations and procedures are payable on the day, prior to going in with the Specialist. 
  • Excess is to be paid on the day of procedure, prior to going in with the Specialist.
  • If you are having difficulty with the payment of your account we advise that you discuss this with your doctor on consultation.
  • If you cannot settle your account on the day please advise us and we can reschedule your appointment.
