2015 -2016 UPDATES

New Medivator

Our commitment to providing our patients with the most up to date in patient  care resulted in the purchase of a state-of the art scope reprocessor (high level disinfection machine ) in August 2015.

This machine monitors each channel of the scope separately for blockage and proper flow ensuring complete high-level disinfection. A computerised detection system eliminates human error by alerting the nurse if any issues arise in the cleaning process.

All of our scopes can be tracked as per Australina Standard AS4187:2014 and NSW Dept of Health Infection Control Policy. Printed data of the cleaning process is placed in your medical record.

The disinfectant used is single use and is environmentally friendly.

New Olympus Scopes

We are excited to announce that Rosemont Endoscopy Centre has purchased the latest Olympus High Definition Endoscopy System to carry out a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, for  gastroscopy, colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopies. The Series 190 scopes will be available from December 2015.

 

Hand Hygiene Australia

"Effective Hand Hygiene is the single most important strategy in reducing healthcare associated infections."

All Rosemont Endoscopy Centre staff including clinical ,domestic and  administrative staff  have achieved certificates in this important initiative of the Australian Commission on Quality and Safety to reduce Healthcare associated infections. Consumer Representatives

Rosemont Endoscopy Centre has appointed 3 new consumer representatives to our team. Our consumer reps will be consulted on all facets of the Centre and how we can maintain and improve our service. Their input is much appreciated.

Patient Satisfaction Surveys

To optimise our care and standards, Rosemont Endoscopy Centre benchmarks our performance in a diverse variety of areas with other like Day Procedure Centres.

We encourage our patients to participate in a survey through QPS (benchmarking company). Our responses to these surveys  are consistently excellent.
